The SGML offers its basic laser course several times a year.
Basic Laser Course (LBK)
The LBK is an 8-hour laser safety course (medical director: Dr. Bettina Rümmelein, speaker: Hans-Peter Diesner, electrical engineer specialized in laser technology since 1977, trainer for laser safety officers in Germany).
The course covers the safe use of lasers, unintentional side effects, adequate visual and other protective equipment as well as the right choice of laser type and parameters. In the 60-min medical part of the course, Dr. Rümmelein discusses the possibilities, limitations and side effects of laser skin treatments with clinical examples.
At the end of the course there is a test. Physicians, MPA, nurses as well as employees of physicians receive a confirmation of attendance.
