The annual congress takes place on 18 January 2027 in the extension building of Kunsthaus Zürich. Lectures in English, workshops in German and English, with a dedicated programme for medical assistants.

Current basic laser courses
Hautwerk Akademie regularly runs basic laser courses on behalf of the SGML. Current dates and prices are maintained directly in the course calendar.
Certificate
Seven types since the 2013 revision
Until 2013 the certificate of proficiency for laser treatments comprised five types. The revision added type VI for long-term hair reduction and split type V into V.1 and V.2. We are updating the entries in the member directory accordingly.

The SGML
The Swiss Society for Medical Laser Applications (Schweizerische Gesellschaft für medizinische Laseranwendungen, SGML) is an organization whose interest lies in training its members in the field of laser medicine, in ensuring quality control and in scientific work.
The SGML aims to promote the exchange between experts and to ensure an optimal flow of communication in this specialized field of knowledge. The annual congress of the Swiss laser society SGML provides the basis for scientific continuing education combined with an informative exchange among colleagues.
Whether in cooperation with the federal government, with doctors or patients, we always strive to help our members overcome challenges in various areas, offering support and acting as an intermediary.
